Most strategy board games position opposing sides against each other in some form of battle or conquest. Depending on the location of the meeple, they can represent a robber, knight, farmer or monk. When an area is completed, a placed meeple scores points and then returns to the players land. This popular version of the game also includes ‘The River’ expansion giving you 12 extra tiles to play with which really extends the game play significantly.
